Beloit Memorial Hospital and Beloit Clinic
Unite for New Integrated Health
On January 1, 2010, Beloit Memorial Hospital and Beloit Clinic formed a partnership now called Beloit Health System, a fully integrated healthcare system..
For many years, the clinic and the hospital have been closely aligned for the best interests of the community. This change elevates our services into a new era of health to sustain us long into the future. Our goal is to better position our hospital for future healthcare reform and cost containment.
The 1,109 employees of the hospital have joined the 360 employees of Beloit Clinic and become one- now known as Beloit Health System. In addition, there are 110 primary and specialty physicians who are partners in this new integrated delivery system.
The hospital and clinic have both shared a common purpose and that's to improve the health and wellness of the greater Beloit community. These are two strong organizations coming together.
There is great competition everywhere to recruit the best and most talented physicians. This unification will attract and sustain these physicians to our community. The formal agreement will create a stronger healthcare system with less duplication and more effectiveness. It will also provide a better system to focus on our hospital and clinic quality and safety initiatives.
The mission and the values of the hospital and clinic will remain- striving to deliver the highest quality medical services and improve the overall health status of the community. These goals will be met while maintaining an economic value and the highest level of patient satisfaction. Beloit Health System will be a not-for-profit business entity.
Sincerely,
